What is technology and what is the unexpected global issue?

Technology in the sense the sum of methods, techniques, skills, and processes used for the production of goods and services.

GLOBAL ISSUE

Unexpected global issue means an issue which result negatively affects people all over the world. Most probably they are natural disasters. Nevertheless apparent from that there are political crises, communal conflicts, economic crises, energy crises as well.

Therefore to front such global issues we must have proper preparation in order to minimize the effect of the issue. For example these days the whole world experiencing the vast impact of the COVID-19 virus. As a result of getting necessary actions to the front that as a country SL was able to minimize the impact of it. So it emphasizes that the value of the preparation. But unfortunately, some powerful countries had to kneel down in front of these kinds of situations by dint of not having a proper plan. The best example in the USA. The COVID-19 affected their economy vastly. 

So from here let’s consider how technology can be used effectively in several sectors in mitigating issues created by unexpected events.

 

Health sector

The health sector is the most significant and responsible in such situations. They are responsible for the lives of their country. Hence, having advanced technological devices as well as having advanced systems is worth managing pandemic situations. These devices and systems are helpful to do things accurately and quickly in a cost-effective way. And it is worth introducing these systems and devices to the health sector to front issues efficiently and effectively.

                                         

Education sector

“Education is the hidden wealth of a country” 

That’s how people say the value of education. In the education sector, if such a global issue arises then students and teachers won’t be able to attend to their education center. Owing to that they won’t be able to carry out their education. Nevertheless, we would be able to manage it up to some extent using the technology. Have a look at the COVID-19 pandemic situation. In the beginning, all the schools and universities had to close. Nonetheless, we were able to continue our studies within a short period thanks to technology. But we could have save that short period if we had a proper preparation. We were able to continue studies like we were seated all together. That’s the value of technology. Therefore as a government, they have to develop an internet facility as all can get access to the internet.
